    WD Element Logo


    Hi All,

    My External hard disk 500 Element Logo seems to be missing. Any idea guys what is the reason?

    I have attach the screenshot.

    Hi saf79,

    This is usually caused by an infected autorun.inf file. Enable hidden folders and then delete the file.
    Hidden Files and Folders - Show or Hide

    Alternatively, hit Win+R to bring up the Run command and copy all of the following code in (this should delete the file from your drive):
    attrib -H -S l:\autorun.inf | del l:\autorun.inf


    Afterwards, run CCleaner and then restart.
