Help I've tried nearly everything - Lock up with NO BSOD
Hi Guys.
I just built a new PC with a mixture of new and old parts.
hardware:
NEW:
ASUS AM3 M4A87TD / USB3 - MOTHERBOARD
PHENOM II X4 970 3.5GHZ AM3 L2/L3 8MB 12 5W PIB - PROCESSOR
2X 2GB CORSAIR DDR3 MEMORY STICK
OLD:
GEFORCE NVIDIA 6600 GT - GRAPHICS CARD - (worked fine on old system for 6 years)
500 WATT PSU - (worked fine on old system for 6 years)
500 GB SATA WESTERN DIGITAL - HARD DRIVE
PIONEER IDE DVD/CD WRITER - (currently disconnected due to problems)
Fresh install of Windows 7, Ultimate, 32bit after format of partition.
No USB devices connected other than mouse and keyboard.
Latest ASUS Bios update Version 2001. Latest LAN, NIC, AUDIO, CHIPSET, NVIDIA drivers installed.
AVG removed COMPLETELY - Currently PANDA Antivirus installed.
OK When I built the machine it was temperamental from the start, it would not always load windows, sometimes it would hang on windows start screen, sometimes even in the BIOS itself! Scary Sh*t lol. If it did manage to boot up sometimes it would hang on desktop. Crashes varied sometimes would run fine for hours.
Reseated RAMM about 16 times, reseated graphics card, I have run the memtest but with both sticks on and only 2 passes but no errors.
Scanned Hard drive no errors and fragmented.
Tried flashing BIOS, removed CMOS battery, reinstalled everything etc.
It started to get a little more stable but then the BSODs started. I have posted them below newest at the top the bottom one is right after I flashed BIOS and removed CMOS battery (they were still happening before then):

I changed the voltage on my ram, to match what the mobo recommended for my ramm compatibility wise changed to 1.65 volts or something and this stopped the BSODs although might just be a coincidence...
The system still locks up but this time with NO BSOD, however in Windows Event Manager it mentions a Kernel 41 error:
The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.

ALSO just found this, but have the latest NVIDIA Drivers.....
Faulting application name: nvxdsync.exe, version: 8.17.12.7533, time stamp: 0x4dd730b4
Faulting module name: nvxdapix.dll, version: 8.17.12.7533, time stamp: 0x4dd73285
Exception code: 0xc0000417
Fault offset: 0x001b9b45
Faulting process id: 0x834
Faulting application start time: 0x01cc35b502ce89b0
Faulting application path: C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\Display\nvxdsync.exe
Faulting module path: C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\Display\nvxdapix.dll
What the hell is it??? LOL
75% of forums say bad ramm, place were I bought it from have said bring it in, but from what I've said they suspect faulty mobo, some people say CPU or PSU but my instinct says maybe graphics card.
Can anyone help
Thanks
