Computer not even blue screening just restarting

and that fix worked for a while but now my computer has started to crash again and i updated the thread with the new information i had and what i thought of to help find an answer but no one ever came back to my thread so i started a new one i hope that's alright because its very frustrating having my computer restart constantly.

i ran memtest86 and when it ran apparently 7 passes, it came back and gave me over 100 thousand errors before i just exited it since i figured once you have over 100 thousand errors its pretty obvious that means it failed.

my motherboard is: ASRock 890GX PRO3

and my ram is: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666)

and as far as i can tell they should be compatible, but right now i have a hard time even getting my computer to boot up at all, usually i will turn it on and my screen will just remain black. sometimes itll get past the asrock screen then go black, sometimes it gets to windows and freezes, and sometimes it gets just past user logon then it freezes... i have no idea what to do and would really appreciate any help.

Edit: As of right now i decided to try taking out one of the sticks of ram and see how that goes and i am atleast able to post this thread for help... i dont know if taking out the ram actually did anything but it was all i could think of doing.

Who built the system? Me.

What BIOS? American Megatrends? not sure if thats what you meant. my bios is updated though just updated maybe a week ago.

What mem timings? Default out of the box? ok im not 100% sure on this but i just read around some other places and found something that checked my timings apparently and this is what i think i got.

DRAM Frequency: 669.6MHz is that what you wanted? and i have never touched much of anything with my computers actual running and operating specifics so they should be default.

Ever did any OC-ing? no not at all.

so far with the 1 stick of ram removed the computer is running fine.

ok i put the stick of ram i had removed into the computer into the slot that the stick i was replacing was in, and the computer would not boot up it seemed, so i moved the stick of ram into the other slot, which is where it was before i removed it the first time and now my computer seems to be working fine still.

so for my own personal reference: Stick 1 and stick 2 both in slot 1 and slot 2 respectively, computer will not start/crashes a lot.

stick 1 in in slot 1 and stick 2 removed from slot 2, computer works fine for prolonged period of time.
stick 2 in slot 1 and stick 1 removed entirely, slot 2 empty, computer will not start on first attempt, did not retry.
stick 2 in slot 2 and stick 1 still removed entirely, slot 1 empty, computer working fine for hours now.

any thoughts?

ok i put stick 2 in slot 1 and its running fine, i guess it was just a fluke and i didnt put it in right the first time.

As far as I can tell, it appears my computer runs absolutely fine and has no problems as long as only 1 stick of ram is in, regardless of which stick or where i put it, but if i put in 2 sticks of ram it starts crashing and failing to boot up.

ok i got a crash again with stick 2 in slot 1, i tried running the sims and it crashed my computer... but it did work fine a couple of times just now i connected my computer to my tv with an hdmi cable and it crashed trying to run sims. i dont see how my screen would affect my computer crashing though.

Edit: ok i swapped out stick 2 with stick 1 and put it in slot 1, and stick 1 in slot 1 also ended up crashing on sims 3 during the loading bar at about the same place. So maybe slot 1 is broken? i am testing stick 1 in slot 2 right now.
