Windows 7: bsod 0x00000124 on new sb 2600k build

bsod 0x00000124 on new sb 2600k build

So i recently upgraded from a i7 960 to a i7 2600k
bought a brand new board and used a set of ram i had laying around

specs


CPU: Intel Core i7 2600k Sandy Bridge
Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-Z68X-UD3-B3
Graphics Card: SAPPHIRE FleX 100314FLEX Radeon HD 6870 1GB
Memory: G.Skill ECO DDR3 1600 2x2gb or CORSAIR XMS3 DDR3 1600 4GB (2 x 2GB)
Hard Drive: 2x Intel 40gb SSD raid 0 + 3x320 raid5 + 1tb SP
Optical Drive: Samsung SH-S183L SATA Multi
Power Supply: OCZ ModXStream Pro OCZ600MXSP 600W
Display: SAMSUNG 941BW Black 19" x3
Case: CHIEFTEC BRAVO BA-01B-B-B Black Steel Full Tower

Your .dmp file shows a stop error of 0x124 which is a general hardware error .

A "stop 0x124" is fundamentally different to many other types of bluescreens because it stems from a hardware complaint.

Stop 0x124 minidumps contain very little practical information, and it is therefore necessary to approach the problem as a case of hardware in an unknown state of distress.
