BSOD After SP1 HELP...!

Windows 7 x64 OEM

- What is the age of system (hardware)?

1 year and 1 month

- What is the age of OS installation (have you re-installed the OS?)

It came preinstalled how ever:

I installed SP1 on my laptop (HP PAVILION 2016la) and it started crashing a lot, getting BSODs and blackouts (screen turned off but system was still on) so I used the HP recovery to bring it back to it's original state.

However today while playing starcraft II it crashed again showing BSOD and seems to include this error 0x8000000000000002

I attached the BSOD dump & files collection and the system health report.

Please help me, I'm not even done paying it yet.....

I would re-install with newest driver.

thanks for your quick response, I reinstalled the driver, no BSOD has happened, hopefully will not happen again, however if anything comes up I'll come by. Just one more question! I really hope not, but is there any chance this is related to the graphics card??

Not this crash. But that doesnt mean you also dont have a gpu problem as well. Other problems?

Actually yes, my computer just crashed again with a BSOD first, the I restarted and it had a black out (screen off system on) however the code on the BSOD was different it seems (0x000001E). I attached the files again, hopefully you can tell what this is all about...

Most recent related to your Symantec. I would remove and replace with Microsoft Security essentials

Hi! Before anything else, thanks for all your help until now, unfortunately the problems keep going, today my computer crashed again twice, first, just as the Loading windows screen appeared the colors were all messed up and there were some pixels around, as it countinued to load the logon screen was completely pixeled. Second time I had a video paused on fullscreen then the screen pixeled again and the system stopped responding. I attached the files from this error, hopefully it's something different.
However, since the errors seem to continue, would you think using the recovery again could fix de problem?

How To Find Drivers:

- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.

2- remove the remnants of Symantec using their tool.

Download and run the Norton Removal Tool to uninstall your Norton product | Norton Support

3- Run a system file check

Run a system file check to verify and repair your system files.
To do this type cmd in search, then right click to run as administrator, then
SFC /SCANNOW

Let us know the results from the report at the end.

4- run memtest

Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder or another ISO burning program.

Boot from the CD, and leave it running for at least 5 or 6 passes.

Just remember, any time Memtest reports errors, it can be either bad RAM or a bad motherboard slot.

Test the sticks individually, and if you find a good one, test it in all slots.
