Superfetch problem

My laptop doesn't start the Superfetch Service although set to automatic. The error message is:
"Windows could not start the Superfetch service on Local Computer. Error 2: The system cannot find the file specified."
Does anyone know the solution?
Any help appreciated

Open Windows Explorer and look inside your System32 folder (C:\windows\system32), check that the file sysmain.dll is there.

If sysmain.dll isnt there, run sfc /scannow.

SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

BTW, if you have an SSD, superfetch will be disabled.
