BSOD please help me (GOD)

Hi and thx in advance for anyone who can try to help me, so let me start with the story. I recently purchased a new hard drive to replace my old one and I was able to install it sucessfully. So I installed a fresh copy of Windows 7 pro 32 bit and then ofc installed all the drivers and windows update. All of this went well and then as I was using this newly installed windows and I started seeing internet browser crashing and game sometimes frezzing which lead to BSOD.

At first I thought it might be a system glitch so i carried on using it but I would get BSOD randomly by which I mean sometimes when I was browsing internet and sometimes when I was playing games so It wasn't realted to just one thing, After struglling a lot I then tested the memory and I did two passes on both sticks which are 2GB each. On one of the stick i did get 2 or 3 errors but after repating this test couple of times I saw no errors during the 2 passes. I have tested the Memory plenty of times now and there seems to be no errors.

After banging my head on the wall couple of my times I decided to go back to my old hardrive which still had the installation on it. Let me make this clear that I have been using this installation for the past 4 months and haven't come across a single BSOD but as of now I also saw BSOD even using this instalation. This is the point where my brain shuts down as I don't have a clue what is causing these BSOD. I have been able to use the Debugger tool and from there what I found is the culprit of these BSOD is 'ntoskrnl.exe'. All of the BSOD are being caused by this as explained by the dump file so someone please help me or I will throw this PC out of the window.

Thx and sry for the Wall of Text.

Hello Aman,

The most logical explanation seems to be that you might have "unsettled" something when you placed the new HDD. The first thing I'd try is to open up the case and check all connections.

If that is not it.... Then you might have, kind of Murphy's Law, a broken down mem stick. Please check that with at least 7 passes, not just two...

For further help, please post full info, incl dump file, following these instructions:

Hi thx for your reply, I have now attached the report in accordance to the guide you have provided and please note that you may only see one dump file in this attachment as I have reformated the drive and installed Windows 7 Pro 32 bit again. Furthermore I am only using one 2GB memory stick at the moment to experiment if I come across any BSOD.

Two quick reactions, haven't much time now..

1. you need to check your windows updates, you have a ton of failure messages. Run them by hand, one by one if you have to but please finish the updates.

2. Your dump points to HIUSB.sys. Find your USB devices and update all drivers, if possible from the original manufacturer.

If that is difficult for you to find/do, please post back and I (or someone else) will help, only in my case that will be tomorrow... good luck!

PS. its your mouse and keyboard usb driver. Renew..
