    Kind of looking like a general app hang message.
    Only two real software reasons I know why explorer itself would hang though.

    1- a system file has been corrupted, run a secure file check to revalidate windows files
    SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

    2 - a virus, boot safe mode with networking
    Safe Mode
    Then grab mbam install it, let it update, and run a full scan.

    The other possiblity is a memory issue is causing the hang.

    Did you run Malwarebytes after udating definitions, full scan?
