    What is causing this problem?

    My PC operates windows 7 Premium 32 bit. The PC originally had XP installed, the supplier I bought the PC from installed Windows 7 about one year ago. The hardwarde itself is about 2 and a half years old.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    ASACPI.sys the old versions are huge cause of BSODs
       Information

    Please visit this link: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Drivers and Download P7P55D LE
    Scroll down to the Utilities category, then scroll down to the "
    ATK0110 driver for WindowsXP/Vista/Windows 7 32&64-bit" (it's about the 12th item down).
    Download and install it.
    Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers to check and make sure that the ASACPI.sys file is date stamped from 2009 or 2010 (NOT 2005
    )

    Code:
    ASACPI.sys        0x941ce000    0x941cf420    0x00001420    0x411c2d04    13/08/2004 06:52:52

    Since my previous message my PC has crashed about four more times. I executed the ram test last night, the software completed 10 passes and found no failures.
    What should I do next?
    Best regards,

    Sorry it has taken me so long to reply. I had installed the latest Philips driver beforehand. I have since updated Norton. But now the PC blue screen crashes everytime I try to uninstall or install new drivers or softwares. I cannot even do a norton scan or back up. What should I do?
