Please anybody who can read minidump files.

    please take a look

    locale id 1033
    bccode 50 usually

event viewer displays critical error kernel power event id 41

    warning ESENT 399

    thanks,

According to this, a driver attempted to de-allocate a pool tag that either was invalid, or had already been freed (more likely the former given this dump):

The pool tag is invalid, hence the crash.

It's a minidump, so I can't see anything of the user-mode portion of this stack, but at this point driver verifier and another dump is our best option after you've gone and updated all of your hardware drivers to the latest version available from the hardware vendor for Windows 7. After updating all of your drivers to the latest versions, follow the instructions here to enable and get data with driver verifier.

thanks for getting back to me oh wise one

i already reinstalled windows using only 1 ram stick. I'd read about it it another post. I hope its a fix.

its worked since, only been a few mins though. I'm going to update everything again. Then replace 1 stick of RAM at a time.

if i get back to that point without a resolution i will do what you suggested.

    Super thanks GURU CLU
your wise words are most appreciated.

Good luck, and if that works, post back as such. If not, we can try again .

Ok i installed all my harware with discs, but held off on windows updates and it worked good. I installed flash player for youtube and java. A few days went by with constant use. I shut down and it was taking a while so I walked away, came back it was off. So when I turned back on it told me there was a blue screen. I was like what? event viewer said kernel power 63 I read further into previous events ESENT something said there were errors in locations of what appearred to be memory locations. Then a few more blue screens happened as I did this.

The screen would go funky before the bluescreen like look like a bad sweater. I was hoping it wasnt the video card. Anyway its back to being stable after removing the 4th 2GB ram stick. My mem tested fine on 3 occasions.

    minidumps attached

    Thanks

wow i left that post and went to go view some pics stored on my 2nd hardrive and boom bluescreen. I think my wd green 2 TB is a BSOD issue. I removed let me just hope its that, i'll trash it and be done with these probs.

I bought it from newegg it was a bare drive did'nt come in a box just an antistatic bag in bubble wrap.

it was cheap 89.99 for 2TB...

I had to RMA the first one because it made some funky noises and died on me right after installing windows 7 on it.

I read some reviews on the product and more than half the people had negative experience with this drive.

    dmp attached

    mucho thanks

removed wd hardrive and going fine... started using my old lacie external 250 gig hdd for storage no bluescreens since...

i did just have my adobe flash plugin crash during a youtube video...
(i guess i could update to my latest video card driver online, last time doing that it was bluescreens galore)

i also put that 4th GB ram stick back in a while ago so i know they're good...

i'll post back if my bsod was caused by the 2TB wd caviar green model WD20EARS in following up with this issue...

i still haven't updated windows. and i'm still crossing fingers.

    thanks

    catalyst control center

never fails everytime i post it follows by bluescreens. today i had some web sites opened some files open and a small prog.

it looks like the catalyst control center was the culprit of this latest bluescreen and possibly a large portion of the prior bsod's

it said locale 1033 on the unexpected shutdown report and then ccc.exe popped up and said it stopped working and said it was locale 1033

i've been suspecting the video card and/or drivers for it. it's confusing knowing which driver is best for it. windows tells me i have the latest driver

i have (SAPPHIRE 100283-3L Radeon HD 5770 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card)

    latest dump attached

the bsod's keep on comin. I've always thought it was the vid card. Does this minidump say its the vid card?

i get horizontal lines of blended colors across my screen right before it bluescreens.

    Please help diagnose.

    Thanks

Hi I've been getting the bsod's constantly again... locale 1033... page fault in non paged area and bad pool header...

I just tried increasing my RAM as close to max voltage: 1.7400V

after that i havent had any probs, been a few hours...

the only driver issue windows sais i have is NETBT is missing the device driver, but i dont know if its important or not.
