BSOD when gaming (BFBC2, APB Reloaded) -Asus P6T Deluxe V2 - Soundcard **Solved** I wanted to post the below because I was moments from submitting this BSOD to the forums when I found/verified the fix...
Disable Soundmax on-board sound on my 'ASUS P6T Deluxe V2' Motherboard
I bought a SB X-fi PCI-E sound-card now....
Tested 3 games, but I assume the problem persists through all...
Games: Battlefield Bad Company 2APB Reloaded
Americas Army The game would cause the computer to freeze completely with a fast repeating buzzing/clicking sound. BSOD Message: A clock interrupt was not received on a secondary processor
This guy seems to have had my problem...same Motherboard... http://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...mpany-2-a.html
TS steps performed: - set: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\CrashControl\CrashDumpEnabled REG_DWORD 0x1
- (need to drop ram out of system to get a full dump now)
- Windbg executed (attached)
- Cleaned system and replaced Video Card
- Remounted Heat-sink on CPU
- Reseated all RAM
- Tried to overclock/under-clock system
- Disabled nearly every CPU feature (Did not limit number of cores)
- Set Windows Ram down to 2gb available (System Configuration, this was done in an attempt to get a full memory dump, guess you have to pull extra ram from the system if you want a full dump)
- Went to http://driveragent.com, ran a scan and manually searched out and installed latest drivers for everything it listed...(not paying money for that...)
Windows 7 Professional x64, self-installed

The end of this thread suggests that there is a speaker setting you can change to rectify the situation, didn't work for me. BSOD's while playing Battlefield Bad Company 2(dump file inside) - MajorGeeks Support Forums Code: Microsoft (R) Windows Debugger Version 6.12.0002.633 AMD64
