Hi all, will continue to search but need help fast, by mistake I loaded GRUB onto my employers laptop, Dell Latitude E4310, while attempting to create a repair disk for my non functioning Vista home laptop.
So....when rebooting the computer text appeard "resetting hardware" then the text "grldr not found" appeared!Have tried many many 3rd party/USB recovery options and of course numerous attempts with the recovery console...
The main problem seems to be that C drive is not mounting, no win 7 or system files can be found, I can see C and D drive, but the only option given is to format them and recovery console gives no further information.
I'll keep trying the various methods to remedy, but thought I would throw it out here in case someone had any ideas or had seen something similar.
Sorry to start off with a begging letter, thanks for reading..A
