    Can't get Guest Account turned back on after crash


    After a minor crash of my Windows 7 HP TouchSmart 610 recently I found that my Guest Account on the start page was no longer there. I tried to turn it back my going here

    and then going here

    and clicking Turn On.

    It didn't work. No Guest Account and it always says "turned off."
    I tried going to a restore point before the accident and that didn't help.
    BTW, the Guest Account files in the User directory are all there.

    Can anyone help? Thansk!

    can you do file checker and run as administrator
    SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

    Um, not sure I can do this with my HP system. No disks provided. I was hoping for a Registry hack/fix, or something easier.

Hey guys. Im having a problem with my computer!somehow my administrator account has turned to a guest account. Today I tried to unistall a program and it didnt let me saying i needed to be admin. :(:(. Also I tried turning it to admin by using cmd command but it says access not allowed.

The computer (Notebook, Home Premium) had an option to press ctrl+alt+del to log in, and I wanted to change that, so I went to netplwiz and unclicked the option to require users to press ctrl+alt+del to log in. I restarted and then I realized after Flash player tried to update that the computer...
