serious windows error, need help urgently

Hi forum, sorry to be asking so many questions lately . But this is something that requires someone like you guys to help with. Ok, so about two hours ago, I turned my computer on and it came up with windows error console and asked me whether I wanted to go to startup repair or start windows normally, and I chose the obvious answer, which was startup repair. I did that with no results, and the error console came back up again and I chose the startup repair. This time when I restarted, the error console came back up, and I chose to start it like normal. When I did that, it started normal, but when it started, it came up with this error:

    Code:
Faulting application name: MMLoadDrv.exe, version: 2.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x4e167bc7
Faulting module name: atiumdag.dll, version: 7.14.10.847, time stamp: 0x4e1672d1
    Exception code: 0xc0000006
    Fault offset: 0x00047d7b
    Faulting process id: 0xb70
    Faulting application start time: 0x01cc52d4b2a32019
    Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\ATI Technologies\ATI.ACE\Core-Static\MMLoadDrv.exe
    Faulting module path: C:\Windows\system32\atiumdag.dll
Now, the question here is why can I not open any program except Windows Live Messenger and Internet Explorer 8 x64, and was that error the cause? If so, how do I fix it?

    Thanks forum!

I would run the system file checker (sfc /scannow in command prompt) either from the system as is (if that is possible) or from Safe Mode or from the installation disk. It may be able to fix the .dll from the mirror.

I did that on safe mode. I am on safe mode with networking at this moment, and everything is working good. I'm just wondering why its not working good on regular mode.

EDIT: I'm just going to re-install windows.
