Win7 Automatic Reboot (All New Hardware)

    Hi all,

I've just put together a new PC, but an having a problem with it rebooting itself. It usually happens within 3-30min of the system starting up.

The setup is a brand new MOBO, CPU, PSU, RAM, HDD and DVD-RW. I'm using an older GPU.

    My specs:
    OS - Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
    CPU - Intel Core i3 2100
    MOBO - GB Z68X-UD4-B3
    RAM - 4 x Kingston HyperX Blue KHX1600C9D3B1K2 2GB DDR3-1600
GPU - XFX GeForce 8600GT XXX Edition (PV-T84J-UDD3)
    HDD - WD Caviar Green 750GB 64MB/SATA-6G
PSU - Antec High Current Gamer 520W
    Fans - 2 x Thermalright X-SILENT 140mm, 3 x 120mm (variety of brands)

To root out the problem, I tried running the PC in safe mode; this did not result in any reboots for the 2 hours I left it in that state.

What diagnostics can I run to root out the problem? Unfortunately, I don't have any spare parts to sub in and thereby expose the guilty piece of hardware (if that's the issue).

Thank you for your help, guys.

I could also mention that I'm installing Windows off a burned DVD (downloaded the ISO off MS website). I've used this disc once before on a different build and it didn't give me any problems.

I've reinstalled the OS three times, reformatting the HDD before each. I've also run a memory test and it went through twelve passes with no problems reported.
