Computer Powers Off (Randomly?)
Hey all, first post here so stay with me.
So as of the last week my computer has been randomly shutting itself off completely. No error screen, no hanging, no BSOD, just completely turning itself off forcing me to use the button to reboot. It boots up fine aside from the improper shut down confirmation screen.
I would say it only happens during gaming or other intensive applications but it has happened (infrequently) during simple web browsing or word processing. More often than not it is happening during a game though and it seems to happen anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes in.
I get an critical error in the event viewer with ID 41, Kernel-Power:
Immediately following each of those errors I get an Kernel-EventTracing Event ID 3 Error:- <Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event">

Hopefully someone will be able to make a little more sense of all this than I can! It has become quite an annoyance- <Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event">
