Laptop will NOT start at all

simply put my laptop won't start. it is an Asus bamboo. i5. windows 7 home (not sure if it's premium or what) 64 bit. 4Gb ram i think 750Gb hard drive. I got this laptop in jan this year. I had this problem a while ago when my brother downloaded an infected game and the startup repair fixed it, and i deleted the file, everything went back to normal. but this time i don't know what happend, I was watching a youtube video and all of a sudden, my verizon mcafee came up and said it deleted a trojan and my laptop just shut down. so i hit the power button and startup repair came up but it said that it couldnt fix anything. I've searched on google and these forums but i can't find the right answer. Please help me I need this laptop to work i have to go to college and i need this fixed asap. um... not sure but additional info. a couple of weeks ago my mcafee firewall kept on turning itself off not sure if it was a virus or anything. i just uninstalled and reinstalled worked fine. I can't safe boot and i can't system restore because i'm an idiot who didn't set a restore time. i'm paying for it now. as of right now i am running the command prompt chkdsk /f /r C: and it is currently running. if anyone has suggestions of what to do please tell me. thanks

    Problem Signature 02: 6.1.7600.16385
    Problem Signature 03: unknown
    Problem Signature 04: 21200660
    Problem Signature 05: AutoFailover
    Problem Signature 06: 21
    Problem Signature 07: corruptfile
So what I do from here?

Hi joeken7 and welcome to Seven Forums.

Do you have important data on the computer? because if nothing will start it you might have to wipe it and reinstall the OS. By the way, how old is the computer?

Thanks for the welcome man!! um important data... no i have a lot of music and stuff but nothing i can't get back. I do have some high school stuff and videos of a wedding which is pretty much the only important data that i don't really want to lose. but if I have to i can spare it. haha this sucks. the age of the computer? i guess 8 months because thats how long I have used it and i bought it new. but if i do have to reinstall how would I do it? i have no backup and the laptop didn't come with a windows 7 installation CD. again thank you

You're very welcome:) Do you have a recovery partition?
Or you could use a boot disk or LiveCD
P.S Try hitting F8 many times when you start up and when thhe screen comes up select Last Known Good Configuration or something like that

um sorry i don't know what a recovery partition is. is it a cd? I didn't get any software or cd with the laptop. how do i know if i have one? If i don't have one, how do i get one? Do i have to pay for one? sorry for the questions haha i have no clue what it is.

boot disk, livecd? i don't think i have those. the laptop came with no cd whatsoever.
i guess i left that out. i did do that. non of them work the safe mode, safe mode with network, also boot last known good config, non work. wat kind of problem is this do you know. is my computer fried, virus or what?

It is probably a virus because you antivirus said it deleted a virus. What were you doing at the time of failure

I was watching a video on youtube. then mcafee antivirus popped up and said it had deleted a trojan. then my laptop just shut down and end of story. to be blunt what are my options?
