from vista to win7 glitches are found

Hi and thanks for this insightful website,

I have recently switched from vista to windows 7 and came across few glitches that are quite annoying.

The keyboard is inconsistent: while typing this letter the keys sometimes stop typing, or the letters jump to another line or even deletes what was written unexpectedly. Strange enough when I type slowly it works fine.
My second question is the volume buttons displayed on my HP Pavilion dv6000 the volume keys and the Quick Play and the DVD buttons do not seem to work it used to in Vista windows.
When attempting to mute the sound by touching the volume button it works but it does not show the orange muted signal even though the volume is muted. Also the muted sign button does not correspond to the volume muted on screen.
Is there a way to fix these issues? Also is it possible to re install Vista on my E drive and continue to use windows 7 at the same time? thanks
    Regards

    Jim

When you upgraded from Vista to Windows 7 you also needed to upgrade/update your drivers. In short you'll have to find Windows 7 drivers for your keyboard.

BTW you didn't say what keyboard you had??? Or is this also part on the notebook?

Same goes for HP Pavilion dv6000 (I assume this is a notebook) - Find the Windows 7 driver. However If this is a notebook you'll have to visit the manufactures for the appropiate drivers.

BTW it really would help to know if this is a desktop or notebook issue. My guess is a notebook based on the Google search I did but....

    Thanks
