OK, so BSOD happened again, but I caught it in the act.

The computer froze for 1-2 minutes before it happened, this time though, I took a picture of it and it was different to the first BSOD. No ataport.SYS.

Third time now and not sure what to do. I checked for a minidump and I can confirm that there is none. It doesn't dump anything. Can anyone lead me into the right direction into what could be the problem? I'm thinking it's the SSD. I was using Photoshop when it happened and the computer had been on 4 days straight.

These are the errors I have received from the blue screens, do I have to replace any of the hardware?

0xC000000E, or STATUS_NO_SUCH_DEVICE: the drive is unavailable, possibly because of a bad hard disk drive, a bad disk array, or a bad controller card.

0xC000009D, or STATUS_DEVICE_NOT_CONNECTED: bad cabling, non-termination, or the controller cannot access the hard disk.

    ---

I have checked Event Viewer and the only things that are there is:

Activation context generation failed for "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Composite 2012\python\lib\distutils\command\wininst-8_d.exe". Dependent Assembly Microsoft.VC80.DebugCRT,processorArchitecture="x86",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",type="win32",v ersion="8.0.50608.0" could not be found. Please use sxstrace.exe for detailed diagnosis.

    ---

The shadow copies of volume C: were aborted because the shadow copy storage could not grow due to a user imposed limit.

    ---

Event filter with query "SELECT * FROM __InstanceModificationEvent WITHIN 60 WHERE TargetInstance ISA "Win32_Processor" AND TargetInstance.LoadPercentage > 99" could not be reactivated in namespace "//./root/CIMV2" because of error 0x80041003. Events cannot be delivered through this filter until the problem is corrected.

    ---

Audit events have been dropped by the transport. 0

Do these errors have anything to do with anything?

What I had done was re-create the pagefile.sys and completed multiple tests with nothing ever giving me an error.

The last time it happened was on the 15/08/2011 and I have kept the computer on since and I haven't had one. 10 days no BSOD. I left the computer on for almost 8 days straight and restarted on the 9th day. Today I woke up and received a BSOD.

    No minidump ever gets created.

    The latest screen is attached

Alright, can someone at least help me in this regard?

I ran verifier.exe by following the tutorial you guys have here and it crashes on the Windows Logo every single time with the same 2 different blue screens.

    The first:

A driver has overrun a stack-based buffer. This overrun could potentially allow a malicious user to gain control of this machine.

    STOP: 0x000000F7

    The second:

STOP: 0x0000001E with the first parameter as 0xC0000005.

I can't for the life of me get minidumps to generate. They just won't generate at all

In order for me to get back into windows, I had to load up safe mode and disable verifier.

So is it safe to say, it's a driver issue?

Got another one this morning: A process or thread crucial to your system operation has unexpectedly exited or been terminated.

    Stop: 0x0F4

No one replies, so I might do a format and see if it happens again. Have no other choice.

Hi guys, I formatted 9 days ago and I haven't experienced a blue screen as of yet.

However, I woke up this morning with a black screen

    After reading about this error:

Realtek PCIe CBE Family Controller Series v2.38 (12/24/10)
PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable

    PXE-M0F: Exiting PXE ROM .

Reboot and Select proper Boot device ...

So after reading around I went into my BIOS and found 3 things that boot first:

    1. Blu-ray player
    2. Storage HDD
    3. Realtek

I found it strange that my SSD didn't boot first, so I changed it to:

    1. SSD
    2. Blu-ray player
    3. Realtek

Should this solve my problem? Even when I saw the error, restarting the computer put me back on track regardless, wondering if boot order eliminates it from happening again?

I heard that disabling LAN in BIOS can solve the problem or it could be a loose cable in the HDD?

Not sure if this is related, but when I did format, every time I restart, about 2-3 minutes in, the computer's load light stays on and I can't use the computer until the load light finishes, only lasts for about 45-50 seconds. Then after that, doesn't do it again. This didn't happen before, so could it be something I missed when I formatted?
