    Won't recover at all


    Hi when i load windows it goes in to poor res safe mode 7 login screen and nothing happens but you can move the crusor and thats it.

    Its a zoomstorm laptop had it 12months 2 weeks

    Its runn window 7 premium i think 32 bit but the recovery disc they sent me is 64 bit oem.

    I have tried booting the recovery console from the disc or by f8 etc, It loads windows 7 and does when which just sits on x:windows/system32/cmd etc and does nothing.

    I have run out things to try?

    I suggest starting all troubleshooting with the following diagnostic tests. They'll save you a lot of time and heartache if there is a hardware failure, and you'll have the disks on hand in case you need them in the future:
    H/W Diagnostics:
    Please start by running these bootable hardware diagnostics:
    Memory Diagnostics (read the details at the link)
    HD Diagnostic (read the details at the link) - Test ALL of the hard drives.

    Also, please run one of these free, independent online malware scans to ensure that your current protection hasn't been compromised: Free Online AntiMalware Resources (read the details at the link)
