    Laptop frequent BSOD

    Hi,

After the last updates frequently BSOD's occur. I don't know if it has something to do with the updates.

    Occurring problems:
    - At first wireless network won't work
    - All windows services were disabled by a wrong checkbox by msconfig
    - Restored the original service settings with a reg file
    - Yesterday the USB failed, it wouldn't recognize my cellphone, at that moment the external mouse was working fine. But when I unplugged the mouse and put it back in, it wasn't working any more. (Even no power). After restart everything works fine.
    - It seems that I can't remove any hardware in the Devices list. The remove window keeps on loading.

Windows 7 Professional 32bit full retail
Already scanned with ad-aware. Virus scanner is Avira AntiVir.
HD-check is running, Memory check is following.

    Thanks in advance

    Hello Bartel, welcome to SF!

Have you tried a recent MS fix that might be related to your problem?

    Your error is this one:
The power transition timed out waiting to synchronize with the Pnp
    subsystem.
I don't know what stuff you have connected but one of the fixes might be:
"0x0000009F" Stop error in Windows 7 or in Windows Server 2008 R2 when the computer enters or resumes from the Soft Off (S5) power state

Part of that could be caused by these faulty devices (BT and USB):

    HTML Code:
Bluetooth-randapparaat BTHENUM\{8E771401-0000-1000-8000-00805F9B34FB}_VID&00010000_PID&C0EF\8&13EA715C&0&0023455CFE97_C00000000 De stuurprogramma's voor dit apparaat zijn niet geïnstalleerd.

Please, as a test, disable these in your Devices screen.

You also have multiple Windows Update failures:
Please go to your Maintenance Center and check the Windows Update status. Make sure you are up to date, do them one by one manually if needed.
For help or reset see: Windows Update - Reset
A major problem is that your system disk is full. keep the free space there on at least 10% of the total space. Yours has < 1% free....

Please remove any CD virtualization programs such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%. They use a driver, found in your dmp, sptd.sys, that is notorious for causing BSODs. Use this SPTD uninstaller when you're done: DuplexSecure - Downloads
You can use MagicDisc as an alternative.

I think that's enough for now. Please post back results and test after these steps...

    Thanks!

I had also the problem that the laptop won't shut down anymore properly. He kept on saying Shutting Down...
After I deleted the recent Lexmark drivers that I've installed, all problems are solved!
Note to self: never buy Lexmark anymore.

But I'm going to take your advice in mind, to prevent further problems.

    Thanks!
