Windows 7 sets calender to strange date

    Windows 7 sets calender to strange date


    Hello all . I've a long annoying problem when i restart the windows it sets date to year 19933 or something a strange date anyways .
    It makes the windows very slow till i change it manually .
    Could anybody please tell me whats the problem ?

    Check the date in your BIOS. Your motherboards Real Time Clock may be WAY off or possibly busted... Or maybe you need a new battery for your MB for it to keep the time when the power is off (They only last 2-5 years depending on MB and battery)

    Well ... i've been having this problem for about a year or a month less .....
    I've had this pc since 2007 summer and i have to buy a new one .

    its been working fine BEFORE the problem ... so maybe you're right about saying the motherboard got busted
