Win 7 Crashing issues
I've had my PC for about a year and it has been relatively problem free. Last week, I swapped in a friend's (mostly) dead hard drive and had to use a file recovery program to save data from his drive. Since then, I have had sporadic crashing issues. I don't know if it is related, or maybe there was a Windows Update that caused these issues or what. It has crashed a couple times while I've been playing Fallout New Vegas, and once when I was just browsing the web.
Computer specs:
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64. Full retail, I guess (it's from my MSDN account).
CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1055T Processor 2.80 GHz
Motherboard: ASUS M4A89GTD PRO/USB3
RAM: G.SKILL PIS Series 4x2GB DDR3 2000
Video Cards: NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 470 (3 monitors in use)
Hard Drives: Kingston SSDNOW 30GB (meant to be boot drive but actually only used as a dedicated swap drive), Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 SATA 1.5TB
PSU: Antec TruePower TP-750
The system is less than a year old, the OS installation is probably about 6 months old... I was running out of space on the SSD with the OS there, and finally had to reinstall the OS to the other HD.
Thanks in advance for your help. If there's anything I left out, please let me know.
Thanks!
Nick
