BSOD waking from sleep
System specs:
- Windows 7 Ultimate x64
- PCChips P55G motherboard
- Intel Q9400 quad-core
- 4GB RAM
- NVidia GeForce 9500GT
- 500GB Seagate SATA
- DVD reader/writer (ATA style)
- DVD reader (ATA style)
System is roughly 3 years old, sleep/resume has worked perfectly all of that time. Three weeks ago, I began getting BSOD's when waking it from sleep mode. Around the same time, I don't remember which came first, I bought a new Samsung HZ50W digital camera with a USB interface for charging and dumping photos.
Last Saturday, I reformatted/reinstalled, and sleep/resume seemed to be working as expected. The machine woke fine on Sunday morning. I then proceeded to put things back together, and at some point plugged in the new camera. On Monday, the BSOD problem returned.
I suspect the camera is to blame, somehow, but the BSOD occurs even if the camera is unplugged. My suspicion is that some new device is being installed when I plug the camera in the first time, but I can't figure out what that device is.
Dump files and perfmon output are attached. I could really use some help, I've run out of places to look for answers.
Thanks!
