    Please Help with BSOD Nightmare

Hello, new system will not stabilize. I'm using max RAM, & have found that I usually have to increase DRAM voltage when I do that. I've tried all different voltages and speeds to no avail. The system BSODs at random times.

Have updated drivers, flashed BIOS, tested memory (48 hours all good), everything I know to do but nothing is working.

I try to open the DMP file with VS2010 but it says it can't open an old version. So I use VS2008 on another machine and it just opens the file with no code, lists, or anything -- my only option is to debug.

Just trying to point out that have done all I know to do before asking here. Any help or information would be appreciated more than you could know. The role of this machine is critical and I can't have it so unstable -- it's got to be a 24/7 box.

Thanks so much for taking the time to read this and in advance for any help or information you can provide!!!!

    MACHINE BASICS:

Asus X58 Sabertooth MoBo (LGA 1366)
    Core i7-960 CPU (No overclocking)
    6x4GB DDR3 Corsair sticks (24GB)
    ATI Radeon HD 5670
OCZ Vertex 3 120GB SSD (Primary) Sata 600MB/s
    WD 2GB SATA HDD (Secondary)

    Role: General Office/File Server/Database

    THANKS AGAIN!!!!!!

The error is consistently in the client runtime (csrss.exe)
Which is a fundamental part of windows.

Just to clarify a few things before I go digging back trying to trace a source (the first three dumps weren't very enlightening)

Have all the hardware devices been updated i.e. ssd firmware/ board bios?
The drivers appear to be properly up to date after a cursory look over.
I notice you have roxio loaded on the machine, I would suggest removing it for the duration of troubleshooting as well, since videowave is known to sometimes cause runtime issues.
Another possible software causer here is the AI suite from ASUS.
You don't need it for the system to function and it sometimes interferes with things. Totally your call on keeping or removing that one though.

Finally thank you for making a proper post and providing the requested information.
You'd be amazed how rare that is.

    sample dump:
    Code:
    Probably caused by : csrss.exe

Thanks for the insight, Magus -- I'm removing ASUS and Roxio stuff now. FYI - those were both installed recently and in the middle of the BSOD experience. I'm pulling them anyway of course, but knowing that may help somewhat.

BIOS has been flashed to most recent version (July 2 I believe). All drivers are AFAIK updated.

    Thanks again!

All your crashes are I/O errors. Some of them state that data couldn't be placed into memory. It seems that you either have a bad hard drive, bad motherboard or bad memory. For testing purposes, try removing some memory to see if the system stabilizes.

    Code:
    Page File Location(s): P:\pagefile.sys
I also noticed that your page file is not on your C: drive. You should make sure it is located on the OS drive because if it isn't you can run into some issues

When did you problems start? I've seen issues with the SSDs causing errors such as the ones you're having.

48(ish) hours stable. I'm gonna marked this "solved" with some optimism. Thanks again SO MUCH for your time and your help!!

Mods might consider a sticky re: UPGRADE YOUR SSD FIRMWARE (for SSD users) as I now see this is a relatively huge issue. As an old-timer, I built this system without even considering the need to upgrade drive firmware -- it's a new way of lookig at things caused by new tech. I know for one if I had seen a big "UPGRADE YOUR SSD FIRMWARE" sticky, It would have nudged me into doing that before posting & I wouldn't have had to bother the kind & helpful resources on this board.

Just a thought, and thanks a bazillion (again) Magus & MGorman!!!!
