Is it enabled in Bios Eric?

Intel Turbo Boost Technology is usually enabled by default by a switch in the bios where you can either enable or disable operation. Other than this, there are no user controllable settings to change Intel Turbo Boost Technology operation either in the hardware settings or operating system. Once enabled, Intel Turbo Boost Technology works automatically under operating system control.

no i brought it in to a tech and she said the solution was to disable it because that was causing the crashes but my comp is still crashing.

she told me that it was the only thing wrong with it. no other problems with any other driver or hardware.

lol I would suggest going here and follow the steps to posting a bsod and other errors:

The reason I laugh is because there's obviously there's more wrong with it than that if it's disabled and hardware and drivers are the cause of these problems. My computer has nothing wrong with it either, but it would still crash when I set it up from a new install just because some of the drivers were not right even though it showed they were ok.
