    "Create Dump File" command line

Is there a command line for the task manager right click on the process and executing a "Create Dump File"? I'm aware we can use ADPlus, wondering how Windows 7 does it without debug diag or windows debug tools

I ran some initial trend on my end as well. I tried capturing procmon while issuing the command. All I could see was the .DMP file getting created from taskmgr but no commands specific to dump creation

    Help is appreciated

Bill2, thanks for your response. We are not allowed to introduce any files other than what comes with base OS. I trust Mark but this is a production requirement, unfortunately insane rules

    Hello!

The biggest problem is that generating a dump file is NOT trivial. In fact, it is very difficult!

Any chance you could write a program!?

    MiniDumpWriteDump function (Windows)

Unfortunately, I doubt it! Mark's code is probably pretty secure!
