Tom Tom and the blue screen of death

I have a 3 year old Tom Tom GPS and I plug it into my computer via a USB hub and I don't know if the hub had anything to do with it. I have a camera and the manual says not to plug it into a hub. Anyway I got the Blue screen of death so maybe I need a new Tom Tom because I'm very happy with it but Windows 7 wasn't out when I bought it. Not sure what to do?

I hook up my XP computer and put my USB straight into the computer (no HUB) and downloaded the software and everything went OK except my TomTom is so old I can't download anything. Somethings just shouldn't be connect to the USB HUB.

    Hello there!

Connect directly to USB port and see if that make any difference. Try this article Vista can't find device drivers to manually force the drivers.
