    Upgraded system BSOD


    Yesterday I put in a new mobo, cpu and ram into my old rig and while running BC2 today I got a BSOD, Ill try to put give you guys as much info as I can and Thank You for your time

    Blamed on hardware, but I would update this first (yours form 2005)
    Related to RTCore64.sys MSI Afterburner from Micro-Star Int'l Co. Ltd.

    Your .dmp file shows a stop error of 0x124 which is a general hardware error .

    A "stop 0x124" is fundamentally different to many other types of bluescreens because it stems from a hardware complaint.

    Stop 0x124 minidumps contain very little practical information, and it is therefore necessary to approach the problem as a case of hardware in an unknown state of distress.

    Could it be my GPU overheating? i could feel it radiating alot of heat from it, idk but ty man

    Cant say but if you feel it is download cpu-z and gpu-z (both free) to keep an eye on the temps.
