Just to let you know.

Got rid of the Floppy and things seems to be running fine.

I'll report back if and when I get another crash.

Cheers and thanks for the help

Well I've just come back from a few days away.

Just tried to ring someone on skype and as soon as the video loaded up the screen went blank and I got the same kernal message as before (to get Skype to work again I had to quit the program and start it again.). Its exactly the same as wmp.

You remember that?

""Just a tip: Your onboard graphic card is weak, and is old, so is a good idea to install one better graphic card.
Your motherboard can accept pci express card.""

Well i think is time to do so

I thought that would be the case. Do you think the onboard gfx is broken? As the pc is only 2 years old???

Can you recommend a gfx card (cost effective option)?? Don't use the pc for gaming just general home use with the odd video??

Cheers
