Bsod 116
Ok, here's the deal.
This is a problem with the boot up of windows/computer because everything works perfectly fine once computer is up and running. Currently have 2 different problems.
1. Turn computer on, all works fine until, the Starting Windows screen. Gets past this, ready to load up the login screen but doesnt get there. Monitors turn off (no video activity). Restarts itself and works perfectly fine after that.
2. Turn computer on, but i have no video. I can tell it gets to the login screen due to being able to hear the Windows login screen sound. Restarting does not fix this issue. Only way it seems to work is if I fiddle with the video cards/power cords to them/monitor cables. None of them seem to work every time though so its hard to narrow down the culprit.
Now with both these issues, when i finally get into Windows, it gives me the 116 BSOD error report popup. Works perfectly fine after that. I know there are 124/101 BSODs in there too but they only appear when i leave my computer on for extended periods of time (too scared to turn it off :P)
Also only seems to be when I'm cold booting my computer, due to being able to restart to my hearts content without these problems. Sleep/hibernate causes problem No. 2 too.
Now, I don't know if its related or not but my PSU (OCZ ZX 1000w) makes some loud buzzing noises when I'm playing games (under load i presume).
Hard to tell whats going on here in my eyes. Seems it might be a video card problem but they work fine. Might be PSU related though. have got a warranty request on it but thought I'd ask on here before going without it for awhile.
Have tested both video cards in other systems and doesn't seem to be the issue. Can't test the PSU due to not having another SLI setup to sort of mimic the setup i have.
Anyways, I hope you guys could help me out.
Have attached the related information.
Thanks,
Matt
