    Horrible Windows 7 Problems

Well guys, I don't know what to say. Windows7 has become unbearable for me to use the past few weeks. Windows Aero Lags when opening and closing windows. Videogames stutter even on lowest settings, in cutscenee and opening credits aswell, and worst of all audio pops in and out.

Now I don't know WTF is wrong. I updated drivers for everything several times, Bought a 50$ HSF for my CPU to keep it cool(And ic diamond thermal paste), Ran only 1 stick of each ram at a time. Everything I could think of I did.

Now here's what I think may be wrong. I installed windows from an iso, then through and upgrade from vista home, and I think that either ISO I had was corrupt, or the Vista Install I had was corrupt. But yesterday I re installed windows from an Install cd I borrowed and these issues started almost immediately. Do you think my entire system could be a lemon? Because I have a 7 pro laptop that has never had such issues.

    My system.

    Phenom X4 945
    Gigabyte 770T-USB3
    MSI Cyclone GTX 460
    16 gigs of DDR3 1333 G.SKILL ram
250GB Hard Drive Sata 2 Seagate
    Asus DVD burner Sata
    Seasonic X650 Gold PSU

I don't know what could be wrong.

Two or three things stick out from your post:

    1) You say you've updated drivers for everything several times. If you install a new driver without uninstalling the old ones first, that can lead to problems.

    2) First you say you installed from a Windows ISO, and then you used a Vista upgrade copy of Windows to reinstall Windows 7 and now you say you've installed Windows again from a borrowed disc. Really, it's no wonder you've got problems.

In my view, your best bet would be to buy your own version of Windows 7, wipe your hard drive and carry out a clean install.

    1. I updated drivers both Manually and automatically. I did use driver sweeper for the manual uninstall.

    2. I bought Vista from newegg back when it was on clearance for 30$. I already had a Windows upgrade family pack. I borrowed a Retail Windows disk from a friend it still didn't work.
