yep, that driver is there (or back?)

1-ASACPI.SYS a major cause of BSOD's in the 2005 rev.

The pre 2009 version of this driver is a known BSOD cause.

The 2005 version of this driver is a known BSOD cause.
    Please visit this link: http://support.asus.com/download/dow...ge=en-us&os=30
Scroll down to the Utilities category, then scroll down to the "ATK0110 driver for WindowsXP/Vista/Windows 7 32&64-bit" (it's about the 12th item down).
    Download and install it.
Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers to check and make sure that the ASACPI.sys file is date stamped from 2009 or 2010 (NOT 2005).

If that is the driver that caused this last bluescreen, then this driver might be the last problem I have now, and when it's updated, I should be okey I think. So, moment of truth! I'll get back and tell you if it works so you can close the thread or whatever you do with old threads :)

Well, hope that this fixes it and... as the OP... you get the sole privilege (mods excluded) to mark your own thread solve. You can do so on any page...

Okey, it seems as if this has solved the issue for now. But now I have a new question instead. I gave the computer to where I bought the motherboard and hey ran memtest (as I had done just before, got over 500 fails and thought this was serious problems, better give it to the pros) and got no fails what so ever. They didn't change RAM sticks (as far as I know) and they gave me the new PSU instead, which made 90% of the BS's disappear.

BUT, now my system can't find 2 gb of my RAM. Have never happened before. It's 3 identical 2 Gb sticks, brand I can't remember.

What do I do? I'd try anything that doesn't involve opening the case and getting them out because it's so many cables all around that it makes me scared trying to get them out... But if that is the only solution, I guess I have to.

Opening is the only solution. They must have re-seated them...
