BSOD since I built it

Hey guys. I have had bsod's stop my comp almost since I built it, but recently I have been seeing them much more frequently. Its always a system service exception or bad pool header. I wonder also if the cpu temp has gone up because of whatever problem is occuring. It used to idle around 31-35C and now its anywhere from 40 to 50 and its a little frightening. I built this computer March of 2010 and just reinstalled win7 ultimate x64
3 days ago. It was just before that I started seeing the bsod ALOT more than normal. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Due to the variety in dump codes, I suspect ram memory, None of the drivers really stand out though you do need to let Windows Update finish..
You also have some problems with Windows Update

Please go to your Maintenance Center and check the Windows Update status. Make sure you are up to date, do them one by one manually if needed.

Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder or another ISO burning program.

Boot from the CD, and leave it running for at least 5 or 6 passes.

Just remember, any time Memtest reports errors, it can be either bad RAM or a bad motherboard slot.

Test the sticks individually, and if you find a good one, test it in all slots.

RAM - Test with Memtest86+

Well, I have a buddy with a really good hardware diagnosis program. He ran that for me and nothing out of the ordinary popped up. RAM, processor,hard drive all seem in good condition. I pulled each ram stick out and popped it back in so if it was a loose one I will know if I don't bsod in a day or so. My friend works for a nameless corporate giant and had some software designed to fix near everything. It didn't find anything wrong so I guess I wait it out for a few days and see if I have this problem still. Thank you for all your help and giving someone like me a place to turn to

I hope you are right.... however, years of experience here in the BSOD team... shows that nothing beats the memtest in my previous post. Run it for a night (takes 4-6 hours)... If there was such a thing as a good one-fits-all HW test... we'd use it here...:)
