Doug it probably wont matter. If that is the newest version it may just not be win 7 compatible.

Did this always happen or just start?
I had installed it successfuly a few months ago. Then a few weeks ago my computer started to crash and I had to reinstall Windows 7 (my problems were probably related to running AVG and Norton side by side, I've removed AVG & kept Norton, something I would never have done a few years ago). Since then I've tried to install the webcam software twice and both times have resulted in BSODs. Maybe it's because now I have all the W7 updates which I didn't before (all but the recent .Net ones I should say, someone said stay away from them). I don't have any utilities on my PC except Norton.

Just a thought but Norton is a huge cause of BSOD's on some systems. Were it me I would remove it at least to test.
