OK... it's become a long thread and though I always assume OP's follow all earlier advice given... in this case I forgot to check that.

If you did a clean install of XP and that crashes too... it must be a hardware/bios problem.
Please do the 6-7 passes (= 6-7 HOURS) of memtest86+ as suggested earlier by ZigZag.

IŽll have a look. please get back on this question:

You have a problem with an unknown device. Check your Devices screen and disable please..
    Unknown Device USB\VID_0000&PID_0000\5&21616667&0&2 43
Also, your system seems to have an IRQ problem. Is it possible for you to change the position of some of the hw in the mobo slots? That can influence the IRQ handout.
IRQ 18 Standard OpenHCD USB Host Controller
IRQ 18 Standard OpenHCD USB Host Controller
IRQ 18 PCI standard PCI-to-PCI bridge
IRQ 18 PCI standard PCI-to-PCI bridge

OK, then I'm out of options except for that re-seating of hardware to solve possible IRQ conflicts. Did you try that?
