    ntoskrnl.exe+71ed0 and hal.dll+12903 BSOD

    Hey
After getting a new SSD hard drive and installing win7 64bit on that i have been getting BSOD. Have been running the same system on win7 32bit, but with another HDD, for over one year with no problems. I'm getting tired of BSOD when playing so hopefully someone on here can help me resolve the problem :)

Its an original full retail os. The system is almost one and a half years old, and been running Win7 32bit perfectly. I installed Win7 64bit on the new SSD four days ago. Been driving me crazy sins

Hope you guys can help me. Thanx in advance.

    Hello Pegii, welcome to SF!

I suspect you moved something out of place or did not connect the drive well . You have a hardware error:

Your .dmp file shows a stop error of 0x124 which is a general hardware error .

A "stop 0x124" is fundamentally different to many other types of bluescreens because it stems from a hardware complaint.

Stop 0x124 minidumps contain very little practical information, and it is therefore necessary to approach the problem as a case of hardware in an unknown state of distress.

You can read more on this error and what to try here... Stop 0x124 - what it means and what to try Stop 0x124 - what it means and what to try

After fixing that, you need to let WU finish:
You also have some problems with Windows Update
Please go to your Maintenance Center and check the Windows Update status. Make sure you are up to date, do them one by one manually if needed.
