Hi Guys,
I have recently bought a new computer and have experienced 2 BSOD so far.
Once while playing a game and the other when I came back home and woke the computer up. I took the picture of the BSOD for more information, it's attached to this thread.
I am running Windows 7 64-bit and it's OEM. The software and hardware is new, only 2 weeks old.
Any help will be appreciated as I have just got this machine.

Thanks, I'll search that link. EDIT - With that link, do I download that package and run it?
With the .dmp, I enabled the minidumps (they weren't before) however the folder doesn't exist yet, I'm assuming I have to experience another BSOD before they generate, is that correct?

I followed the posting instructions step by step and had already set MiniDumps. If that's what is missing in the full list then I can't find it anywhere as I assume the BSOD has to happen again so this can work.
So I guess I have to wait again for it.
You may never have a minidump generated, sometimes when the system crashes the crash routine fails often due to hardware problems.
Please run these hardware tests:
RAM - Test with Memtest86+

Also, given that a storage driver was blamed in the dump, run HDD diagnostics - HD Diagnostic
Hi reventon, thanks for your reply.
OK, I left Memtest86+ running for a very long time, went through 7 passes and a bit more and found 0 errors.
No errors with Prime95 for SmallFFT test, everything passed. I'm currently running Blend still, so far no errors or fails, will report back when it has finished.
I haven't got a CD to use to burn for HD Diagnostic, so I downloaded what was advised in the first step: HD Tune. I ran the (full) error search on my SSD and 2 other drives on the CPU and there was 0 errors.
I also did another test using Data Lifeguard Diagnostic for Windows since 2 of my storage drives are WD. All passed with a green tick. Also a step in HD Diagnostic.
I ran Windows Memory Diagnostic and Chkdsk as well, they both returned with 0 errors.
I still have to report the results of the Blend test, but so far, it hasn't picked up anything.
The Blend test finished, 0 errors and 0 warnings.
Hm, what else is there to do? My BSOD isn't happening often, it has happened twice in 18 days with the same message.
I called the support line from where I got it, they have no clue, but said it could be the drive. Somewhere could be corrupted, they said to format it. But, not going to as I don't see what is corrupted. They're just guessing. I don't want to replace the parts because I don't know what the cause is yet.
No dumps. I have checked and it didn't create one (and no folder exists in WINDOWS folder for it). Since then, I enabled minidumps, but haven't had a BSOD yet for one to be created.
Will anything in Event Viewer help?
Further more to what reventon said about never generating a dump, I think that could be the case as the BSOD never gets past the last line of: 'Initializing disk for crash dump ...'
