StartupRepairOffline: CorruptFile Error Lacks Helpful Info
Hello,
I am troubleshooting a computer that has Windows 7 and will not boot. POST runs fine, then the machine comes to "Starting Windows", hangs for a second, then boots on its own to Startup Repair functionality. The error presented is as follows:
Problem Event Name: StartupRepairOffline
Problem Sig 1: 6.1.7600.16385
Problem Sig 2: 6.1.7600.16385
Problem Sig 3: unknown
Ptrobel Sig 4: 21201028
Problem Sig 5: AutoFailover
Problem Sig 6: 11
Problem Sig 7: Corrupt File
Local ID: 1033
System Restore did not resolve this issue either.
So now we're off to the manual file repair and/or replacement; but I get no information from the error as to which file is corrupt. Is there any logging done to tell you what the corrupt file is? I tried to enable Boot Logging and it didn't output anything to ntbtlog.txt.
