I've been struggling with a seemingly random BSOD issue I was hoping someone could offer some insight on!
I recently built a HTPC/Storage computer with all new parts:
CPU: AMD A8-3850 (Integrated Video)
MB: Asus F1A75M Pro (Latest Bios)
RAM: 2x2gb dual channel kit
Sound Card: HT Omega Striker 7.1 (onboard disabled)
can list drives if relevant...
Windows 7 x64 Ultimate Retail
Nothing overclocked
I've been leaving the computer on 24/7, and all but 2 crashes have happened overnight or when I'm at work. Sometimes there would be torrents going, but othertimes not. The 2 crashes that I was around for were while watching a movie. The error is always the same:
Stop 0x0000001e
Probably caused by : ntkrnlmp.exe ( nt!KiKernelCalloutExceptionHandler+e )
I've run Memtest86 a number of passes with 0 errors, and ran prime95 overnight with no crashes (stress made it not crash?!). I've run verifier.exe without inciting a crash too...
The A8-3850 is a pretty new processor, so I wonder if its a driver/bios issue somewhere...
