Windows Installer does not work...and a lot more.

I have a Velocity Micro Machine I bought in December 2009. I am currently running Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit. I have 6 2 GB memory cards installed. I had Win 7 installed OEM, but in June 2011,after repeated calls to Microsoft, with a 4 hour call, we wiped the computer clean and reinstalled Win 7 and then the upgrade to Ultimate.

I have been having endless issues with it for the last year. If I write them all out it would take a million years, but the last thing is that I am unable to even run the System Health Report on the BSOD posting instructions.

I also cannot zip the files for the BSOD report because Windows Installer does not work or is corrupt.

My clean wipe and upgrade to Win Ult 7 in June 2011 did not solve the problem. I also ran memory tests on each stick, did find one corrupt and replaced it--still having issues.

I suspected outdated drivers at one point and now run MSI Live update but am still having issues.

Windows does not recognize the Memory (see attached screen shot)

Outlook (I have office 2007) will not run scanpst--and I have one corrupted folder I cannot access, which is why I am trying to correct it with the inbox repair tool.

I have daily BSOD issues, and I have attached a dump file. 8/29 I got the system service exception, then a Win32k page fault in non paged, then a norton message after that.

I am currently using Norton, but have uninstalled it in the past to see it if was the issue. I also am running MSE, but that has to be turned on at every reboot.

I use this computer for work--it is on a network--and am ready to buy a new one. I try to buy American but this is making me crazy. Velocity Micro would take the computer back and attempt to fix it for a fee, but since all of my issues have been documented, I am thinking I might need a new machine. Plus, I would rather not have it completely gone for weeks.

    Help!
    Thanks!
