No Bootable media
My Win 7/32 Pro was fine in the morning, then few hours later couldn't wake it up from Stand-by. Reboot didn't help. Tried original Win disk - seems to be running infinite boot loop. Eventually, got to Repair (not Install now) - another infinite loop.
Got to System Recovery Options showing Win 7 / Part size 0 / Part Loc G: (!!!).
(I have 2x500 Gb Maxtor non-RAID SATA drives, 2 partions each).
Tried 3rd party rescue. One shows only a few files on C: and freezes on selecting
2nd partition (E:), but shows all files intact (seemingly) on 2nd drive partition (D:). If I remember correctly that drive was setup as Windows Backup drive.
When I try to "Boot from Hard Drive" - "No bootable medium found"
Parted Magic 6.6 shows error "Cannot allocate resource for mainboard", but
my internet search suggests to ignore this Ubunktu message.
Any help will be appreciated.
My PC is self-assembled Asus P6T v.2 dlx, Intel 920, 3 Gb Corsair mem in 3-channel config,
2x500 Gb Maxtor SATA, Sapphire 5770 (had occasional problems with "...display driver stopped working..., even replaced Antec 500 W PS with Corsair 750 W - didn't help).
In BIOS both HD are recognized, all volages seem correct, CPU temp. 45C - ideal.
MEMTEST shows no errors.
