BSOD At random times, STOP error
Hi, first time posting on here. I hope I have read all the rules so that I may not perturb anyone. Attached are the requested files
Summary: I get a BSOD at random times, wether i'm playing World of Warcraft, using Google Chrome, or just having my computer sit idle.
P.S. Don't know if this is related, but when I leave my computer idle for a long period of time, the screen saver doesn't activate and when I try to wake up my computer I have to restart it because it doesn't respond to any user input. CTRL+ALT+Delete doesn't work either.
Is Windows 7 . . .
- x64
- the original installed OS on the system? - Yes
- an OEM or full retail version? - Full Retail
- What is the age of system (hardware)? - Some components from 1/2 year to about 1 1/4 years old.
- What is the age of OS installation (have you re-installed the OS?) - Yes, just about 5 weeks ago. I was having this same problem (both the BSOD and the freezing idle problem) on the old install. That install was about a year old. I saw major performance issues and decided a full format was needed.
Today (9/12/2011) around 5:20ish PM, was the first time I saw this error on this install.
