Yes, but make sure you have the needed wattage calculated first: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Recommended Power Supply Wattage Calculator
hmm i got my neighbor's psu and its working well even ram temp went upto 53c but all is fine no shutdown but my psu is also working well in my neighbor's now what can be the problem ?
ok so i observed few things when i was running on my neighbors psu i placed the psu out side the cabinet just connecting wires required it worked quite well with out any error or shutdown.then i switched to my psu i placed it same way i.e outside the cabinet and it worked quite well in both the cases the temp. went to maximum was stable then core temp was 50,motherboard was 60 and ram was 52c in both the cases. then i mounted my psu inside my cabinet and closed my cabinet doing this i got an shutdown after an hour as i used to get before what can be the problem?
You'd have to install the other PSU and run with it for awhile to know for sure.
i was on other psu with 3-4 hours it ws ok i think its my psu but it works well in others comp, and temps are ok as to me they are max to max 60c
So install it and confirm that.
i did problem only occurs when i place my psu in case . when its outside it works well
