Extended Attributes Inconsistent - annoying error
I have a Windows 7 64-bit operating system. Whenever I try to download or install something, whether its an Internet Download or a CD, I get the message "The Extended Attributes are Inconsistent". I don't have antivirus software and I won't be able to install it until I fix this issue. Also, when my battery gets low, there is a constant loop of "Windows Explorer has stopped Working" messages, even when I am not using Windows Explorer, and I can't use my volume mixer, it always says "Volume Mixer is not responding".
I tried sfc/scannow and system restore; neither worked. I don't want to re-install the OS. I can't get a Windows CD from anyone so I can't do Repair Install. This error is annyoing and I would love to have a response.
