    BSOD debugging - ntkrnlmp.exe & dxgmms1.sys

    Greetings,

I am experiencing a lot of BSODs which seem to be caused either by ntkrnlmp.exe or dxgmms1.sys (see attached files for examples).
I have found a Microsoft hotfix concerning dxgmms1.sys but it didn't solve anything.

    Any ideas? Thanks a lot!

Hi Caps welcome to SF :)

You have some very old drivers,ASACPI.sys and nvm62x64.sys

So update ALL your asus software and your nvidia graphic card.

    ASACPI.sys
is Asus ATK0110 ACPI Utility (a known BSOD maker in Win7). Also a part of the Asus PCProbe and AISuite Utilities
ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Drivers and Download

nvm62x64.sys is nVidia Ethernet Networking Driver (nForce chipset driver)
    Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers

Update also DirectX Download Details - Microsoft Download Center - DirectX End-User Runtime

Update your windows using the windows update.

Finish with the above steps and post back with any results.

Post all your system specs, laptop or desktop,cpu,gpu,ram,motherboard,psu....

    Then
run the https://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...tructions.html and upload here the complete bsod files.

    Then,

Read carefully this tutorial, and run the,

    RAM - Test with Memtest86+

    Leave it overnight if possible.
