Windows 7: BSOD and computer difficulties

BSOD and computer difficulties

I was watching a podcast on iTunes the other day and the program shut down, gave me an 'odd' screen, and then automatically shut down. When the system restarted an error report said I received a Bluescreen. Ever since my laptop has been really slow and I've had difficulties in the responsiveness.

Here's a little context:
I purchased my laptop in August, 2009. Around January, 2011, my computer began acting odd. I generally just hibernate it, but when I would shut it down upon restart I would get to the login screen but the box to type in my password would not come up. I tried restarting the computer many times, restoring to previous version, and maybe after 15 tries (restarting) it would let me log in and all's fine. This problem has continued ever since, so I just avoid shutting down. Then I got the Bluescreen and now I'm determined to resolve the issue(s).

Whatever help you can provide would be extremely helpful.
Thanks

Here's the report I copied: (and I've attached the zipped stuff this site told me to)

Hard to diagnose from a single DMP but this one was Related to NETw5s32.sys Wireless WiFi Link Driver from Intel Corporation. I would re-install the newest version available.

How To Find Drivers:
Quote:
- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
- - The most common drivers are listed on this page: Driver Reference Driver Reference
- - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: Drivers and Downloads

Old drivers needing updating.

Fingers crossed. Just remember anytime you install something the drivers may not be current for that app.
