PC lagging after failed norton install.

    PC lagging after failed norton install.


    Keystroke lag as well as scroll lag among other usual latency issues. Need Help. Appeared to have started after a failed Norton install. No BSOD just severe latency.

    Try System Restore and restore the PC back to a date prior to the failed install. That MAY fix it.

    System Restore can be accessed from Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools. System Restore will not delete any user data or e-mails and there is even an Undo function if it doesn't help.

PC lagging after failed norton install.

Ok I have a machine with norton antivirus that is about to expire. I bought norton internet security (it was about half the price than renewing). The question is do I need to uninstall norton antivirus or just put the new KEY in? I do want to replace nav with nis. Thanks
