Bsod irql_not_less_or_equal
Hello,
BSOD happened once I clicked "Shut Down" in "Start Menu". Happened only once so far.
On Wed 9/21/2011 7:00:44 AM GMT your computer crashed
Crash dump file: C:\Windows\Minidump\092111-21138-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: hal.dll (hal+0x7B7F)
Bugcheck code: 0xA (0xFFFFF280087ED068, 0x2, 0x1, 0xFFFFF80002CCACDC)
Error: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
File path: C:\Windows\system32\hal.dll
Product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
Company: Microsoft Corporation
Description: Hardware Abstraction Layer DLL
Bug check description: This indicates that Microsoft Windows or a kernel-mode driver accessed paged memory at DISPATCH_LEVEL or above.
This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem.
The crash took place in a standard Microsoft module. Your system configuration may be incorrect. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver on your system which cannot be identified at this time.
What I did recently with my system was :
1. CPU overclock , not a big one
2. Change of CPU cooler
3. Removing everything from my motherboard and reattaching again.
4. Adding a front fan in my case, which I'll remove since it's not helping.

I had BSOD's before, but they disappeared once I have added two new RAM sticks.
That's about it. Any ideas ?
