BSOD at random times; error 0x0000007e

Hi, I am using Windows 7 Ultimate [x86 (32-bit)] full retail version. My PC was working quite well for the past 1 year and until September 2011, where it started to give a BSOD at random times. That day, I was using Google Chrome 13 web browser when the BSOD appeared and the PC restarted by itself and now still i am having this problem. The details about the BSOD error are included as an attachment. Please see them and help me find a possible solution to the problem. Thanks in advance.

My first suggestion would be to update your computer to SP1 x86 version: Download Details - Microsoft Download Center - Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 (KB976932) after validation please download the correct version for your OS 537mb. But before you update open an elevated command prompt by going to start and typing cmd in the search box and right clicking on the command and "run as administrator" then type sfc /scannow in the window and check for integrity violations of your system. Also after that run a malware scan of your system using Malwarebytes Malwarebytes : Free anti-malware, anti-virus and spyware removal download doing a full update and a full scan. Then after the updates and everything please do the following:
My suggestion is to enable Driver Verifier following this guide and letting your computer bsod a couple more times while it's enabled. Guide= Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable after the computer bsods at least twice disable driver verifier by opening the program again and deleting the settings either in normal mode or safe mode if you can't in normal mode.
Your dump file are inconclusive meaning that they are basically corrupt the above step with driver verifier will allow us to pinpoint the cause of your troubles. After you have done that please upload the new dumps according to the instructions posted in https://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...tructions.html and will go from there.

SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000007e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
Some common problems are exception code 0x80000003. This means a hard
coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system was booted
/NODEBUG. This is not supposed to happen as developers should never have
hardcoded breakpoints in retail code, but ...
If this happens, make sure a debugger gets connected, and the
system is booted /DEBUG. This will let us see why this breakpoint is
happening.
Arguments:
Arg1: c0000005, The exception code that was not handled
Arg2: 828c0fbe, The address that the exception occurred at
Arg3: 8c55bb50, Exception Record Address

Thanks for the helpful advice! But, now my problem has been solved. You will probably wondering how I did it? So, here it goes! I formatted my hard drive and installed a fresh copy of Windows 7 (32-bit). And up till now its working fine. But anyway thanks for the helpful advices "seth500"!
There's one more thing I would like to ask you that, is it recommended to install sevice pack 1 for Windows 7?
